still working out the kinks in this new hardware setup but it's coming along!
TR08, PO35, PO33, some effects pedals, e-piano, guitar, thru the mackie 1012.

I love the mellow atmosphere, a liberating feeling.

I'm catching with your excellent music in Week 12! Still mad at me to miss this

How do you get that slightly detuned guitar (in a Hawaian way, I mean). Seems like a recording of the guitar on tape with just the right amount of flutter...

Excellent and warm selection of drums that go perfectly with the "paradise island" atmosphere...

gah this is wonderful, feels like the second coming of chillwave but with a darker, dubby approach. absolutely gorgeous track.

cheers!

when playing tangible resonator/slide guitars, one of the typical audio characteristics is using a finger slide to bend notes, then add vibrato or trem to make it swirl.  i tried to emulate this in sampler programming with small pitch bends and weird chord slides, thinking about how an actual guitar is set up and played.

this is gorgeous!  loving the guitars
