Serenity Now

Last night I thought this was going to be another week where I barely put any effort into a track with no motivation.  So I took a two hour break and came back to the initial synth patch that started the chord progression.  I wasn't happy with the way it was sounding and thought I might even have to start something else in place.  So I edited the pad a bit (on the VirusC) and then added some strings, piano, ep piano and another light string from the Roland.  Overall I'm pretty happy with at least the turnaround.  From originally chewing myself out to taking a break and then coming back with fresh ears it was nice to then have that fun feeling that isn't always there during the process.  Yay! Thanks for listening! smile

I like your sensitive feeling for beautiful emotional atmosphere and heart-touching chords.

Sounds like Roy Harris, almost (one of my favorites).

This is super chill and relaxing really beautiful

So peaceful, you're doing it right.

Glad it was a little more fun.  It's absolutely relaxing and mood enhancing.

Great job, beautiful sounds, like when the piano comes in midway and the stripped back ending

Woo!  That is some HARDCORE relaxation!

silly gif's aside - this is a really beautiful piece!  glad you found a way through with this piece - it feels so serene!

Beautiful music. And good to hear that making this track was enjoyable.

Quite more happy than most of your tracks.
