Hello...  I think I may have solved the Ableton riddle as far as my crashes go.  Did some vst_spring_cleaning after conversing with Ableton's quick support. I still kept Ableton at a distance the whole week.  I watched YT tutorials instead as a way to peek inside Ableton and not feel like it was going to smack me in the face with an urrrror message.  Also a lame excuse to not work on anything but i went with it.  Did a quick 30min piano noodle and thankfully was able to complete this week's track with no issue.  Mayhaps next week will get a bit more orchestrated with a pad or two.  Hope you are well. *awkward polywaves* heart

Always a pleasure to hear your piano noodles.  This one seemed to have a sense of hope and optimism to me.  Hope you've got your technical issues resolved going forward!

I can hear a sense of relief coming through the piano! Sounds like you're close to sorting things out, and in the meantime we get some beautiful piano smile

i second (third?) all of that! always enjoy your playing heart

Simply beautiful! Love the tension and emotion at 4:14 and how the song resolves. Great work! heart

This sounds so good, love the piano tone, really warm, and the playing is lovely

Simple piano noodle - that works for me! I like how you took the dynamic to very subtle playing towards the end.

That was beautiful.

I’m having a tough week, and this met me right where I’m at. Thank you.

I agree with Cosmic, I get the sense of hope and optimism from this too. I just listened while on an evening walk and it was very nice. I looked at the sun setting through the trees and heard your nice creation and I felt  better. This may be the one I'll try sampling and noodling around with. Glad the Ableton issues may be coming to an end. I have had issue with vst's in the past, had to purge them, ugh.

Such a lovely cozy piano tone, especially love how the lower-register sounds. Beautiful playing all around, such a calm but uplifting listen smile

This is a heartbreaking beautiful noodle. So many emotional and peaceful melodies. Love it.

Pretty piano piece! Curious to learn more about the artwork, which is quite pretty as well. Is it from a particular artist?

Pleasant, flows great, excellent dynamic range. For a 30-minute noodle, this is top-notch!

So lovely! What a productive noodlin' sesh

Nothing else needed, play the piano so well that it stands alone.

you always capture so much emotion out of that piano. I could listen to just your piano every week.

this is very uplifting - glad to hear about the fix!

makes me wanna go do some spring cleaning now

tanks!  Most of the artwork I use or put up is either a picture of mine or a snippet of something online that I take and zoom in on until it's (hopefully) not recognizable.  The last track's artwork was a closeup of a dove chocolate wrapper at my desk and then I just filter the heck out of it with various iphone apps. Scarlet I think was just me googling the name seeing a picture and then zooming in extreme on that color sequence.  No way an artist with that stuff I just try to go for a color visual or something similar to what the title evokes smile  But a splotch of color is always easier.

oh and the reason it looks like it's kinda painted is i use this one app called OILIST.. it has a basic brush splotch sorta filter or some extreme ones..  h'ok! smile
