The ambience definitely adds something nice somehow.  I remember occasionally recording on my 4-track cassette recorder in practice rooms at college and sometimes picking up chatter or the sound of someone practicing in a nearby room so this has some cool memory associations for me also.

I just had to say thanks again to theGuen for such a cool remix of "Downtown '97".  I don't even think it should be called a remix because it has it's own feel to it.  YAY!
