This track was directly inspired by Flying Lotus' track 'Camel'. I 'discovered' and binged some 'Flylo' over this week and it was very fun and inspiring. After getting a similar slow, textured beat, I added various manipulated samples and it took on a life of its own, including the stacked quire vocals and lots of glitchy drum programming using Ableton's 'Simpler' instrument. I enjoyed this one! The title 'This Cursed Page' is from my journal this week.

* Bass from Ableton bass instruments
* Drum, percussion, sax, vocal, synth samples from Splice
* Ableton Simpler from sample programming
* Ample use of Valhalla, RC-20, Transit plugins (and more)
* Gullfoss and Ozone for mastering

Total Time: 3.5 hours

Thank you! The starting low buzzy thing is a 'resonant synth bass' sample that I tweaked and added a reverb-y FX chain on, and the sax line has a lot of chopping and pitch shifting into new notes.
