week 10

By theGuen on March 8, 2020 10:04 pm

Don't know exactly where this came from.... again a very filled week. But i managed to play every day something. Started with imaschine on moneday or tuesday. played some guitar chords  another day, maybe not exactly to that beat. Arranged things a bit another day and just added the the vocals when i thought i have to start over again... In the end i think it works smile

Hope you enjoy
and have goood week!

It sounds kind of sinister and a little dissonant in a good way.  The vocal stuff works really well I think.

Haha what an iconic vox snippet. Cool drum variations, really keeps the flow going. Nice!

That passage from the bible is quoted in Pulp Fiction by Samuel Jackson, Right? Very fitting with the tone and vibe of the song.  Sounds menacing. Bad ass!

Groovy as hell, Pulp Fiction is one of my faves which made this groove hit even harder.

guitar sounds slightly off-key, or at least dissonant - which adds so much to the dramatic feel of the track.
Yet again a great effort! Your tracks keep on sounding interesting.

You shrunk Samuel L. Jackson and put him in a box. Sure, why not.

Fun good groove! Shrunken Samuel L, haha, love that image. It works!

Thank you all for listening and for these nice comments!!! I was a little anxious about using such a well known voice sample smile

Fun way to think about the use of effects devieus.
I guess i shrunk Samuel to the size of aproximatly 149cm
He is 188cm and pich was 4 semitones. So the new size could be maybe calculated as 188/(2^(4/12))
Maybe that's the reason he fitted in that small room. Unfortunatly that's the only information i have about the delay...

Love the guitar in here. interesting where you take the vocals from.
