Beneath The Blacktop

By theb_roll on January 21, 2024 6:41 pm

This was made from a modular patch, which I then recorded and cut down to a shorter length.  The drums come from the Digitakt and everything else is modular.  The sequencers are a combo of the Nerdseq and the monome Teletype.

That bass sound has a great timbre to it. A great meander track too!

great track, love the bouncy bass!

Wonderful sound design there, sounds like it would have been fun to make too.

Thanks very much!  That bass sound was the first and main thing I patched up.

RAJA!!!  Always a pleasure!  We'll see how I get on.  Already working on my next one, this time on the M8.  A welcome distraction, though one of the many.  smile

reminded me of the chemical brothers "alive alone" -- lovely chords

Thank Nullsleep!  I'll take it. I love that era of Chemical Brothers.  Good to see you as well.  I believe I remember you from the monome forums. cheers!

this is really fun, nice patching. favorited

Oh man, these synths with that progression, fantastic.

Always good when there's more modular music here.  smile
Very laid back feel to the track with just a touch of crazy.  I've always loved the allure of the Teletype but I know it won't gel with my brain.  Have seen some excellent stuff done with it.
