Lately I've been trying to spend more intentional time with the Hydrasynth. It's been fun learning a little more about it each day, and it feels good to save patches to start building a unique library of my own creation.

oh man the stutter steps are so good, keeps me guessing

Prefuse73 level vocal cuts here; expert mode

great melodic cut up jam here!

perfect title somehow?

This sounds so lush and great!!! Fantastic! That bass line at 0:40? Too good!
I won't even bring up the amazing quality of the vocal chops... Hahahahah...
BTW, I'm really curious, what was your workflow here? Did you sequence everything in the M8 and have it control the hydra synth? Or was the M8 just not involved at all here?
Awesome job, this sounds incredible!

Super sparkly.

Top notch production overall. You do something magical with those vocal chops and the sound design is pleasant and cohesive. This track sounds like it has always existed.

really nice roller. your style is v distinctive!

the Hydrasynth sounds v happy to have the attention
so great!

Nice bass/beats. You gots a real roller here!

I hadn't played one before but I had heard so many good things... The gamble on a hydrasynth was one of the best decisions I've ever made! I love mine and am going through that same journey. I'm to the point almost half the sounds are custom presets on mine but I've had it over a year now. I'm still learning the sound design power of this beast!

Your track is amazing btw, I just get hyped whenever I hear the hydra talk. Downloading this track now, so good!

I would create a patch on the Hydra, then noodle around a bit. Its output is going to the SP404, so when I landed on something nice, I would use the 404's skipback feature to capture what I played. Then I'd sample that into the M8 and sequence it! I have yet to sequence MIDI with the M8.
