Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Hello hello and happy new year! I'm new to weeklybeets and to making original music. I started writing this during 37C3 in Hamburg, but didn't get too far. Then I decided to enter Weeklybeats for the first time and had a good reason to finish it. Now it is finished, cleaned up, and ready for your ears.

Ohhhh I love how zoinky it gets after the 1:00 mark - it really gets into some cool chaotic stuff throughout
that lead synth is very alarm-like and makes me feel like i have just violated the corporate exclusion zone and am being apprehended by securibots
Definitely feeling the chaos/urgency here as others have mentioned. Thinking about how stressed I'd be if this played over a boss fight or spooky dungeon sequence.
I really like the portamento on the lead synth. It's got a lot of nice small changes in the percussion to keep your attention throughout the track.
Welcome to Weekly Beats! Great job, especially given that it's your first (or at least an early) attempt. I struggled to even hit the 1 minute mark on my first one! I'm looking forward to seeing what else you come up with this year!
