Love the mixing of the melodic elements and the watery ones! Meditative, reminds me a bit of my week one piece, but I like the melodic / noise balance much more with this one!! The noisy nasty synth is great, and the clean backing wash is a great contrast to the sharp elements that evokes water in its own way. Will keep an eye on your stuff!!
Love how this comes together after the initial gentle collage of splashes and processing. Really nice composition

Hi thank you for listening, happy that you liked it. I actually think i had your piece in the back off my head but couldn’t quite remember, so thanks for writing that. Your piece was cool because of the subtleties this one is more direct. Also you were using field recordings which has something special about it, i was just shaking a water bottle. I guess its kind of like the difference between staged/not staged photography. I guess there were more influences from other people on weeklybeats on this one, not sure how much it feels like “my own”, which is interesting…

"difference between staged/not staged photography" that's a really interesting thought to apply to sampled music!
distorted sounds at 2:30ish are cool! ohh and those springy kalman filter thingies coming in and out on the samples of the water, v cool and smooth transitions!
feels both calming and creepy due to the dynamics.
Love the pace, and atmospheres in this track. This track evolves beautifully!
i really enjoy when i'm listening to music and i:
a.) get so lost in it that i forget where i am
b.) have no idea what the sounds are or how they are being made
thank you
raining down the restlessness
i will survive the will
the will of the restless
to perform for the populace

Very calming but with an edge to it. I felt just a little uneasy, and the distorted piece that starts ramping up at 1:50 proved I was right to feel that way! I love the stark contrast between the calm first half and the slightly alarming second.
This was strangely soothing for my melancholy mood, cleaning kids toys from the floor after a long day (like standing amongst plastic rubble)
such a cinematic atmosphere like i'm floating on wreckage lost at sea. Love the sound of those pads that fade in and out. excellent work
