I felt like making something more avant garde this week, hopefully it's not too far out, but then it's only 1 minute long, so you probably didn't even notice that it happened. Felt like a pallette cleanser as the first three pieces i made this year, all were of a similar structure and mentality. I have been feeling a need to develop my method a bit, so i took the opportunity to experiment a bit with the sounds combining different methods, and not think so much about whether the end product has value to others or even myself.  I have been thinking a lot about what i can change, what kind of tools i want to take into my box, sometimes the topic felt very serious in my head, though im really not sure why. I feel like i had a lot of fun making this one, not sure if it will be fun for others to listen to, i guess you tell me...

Swinging and ear catching! Well maybe swinging is a stretch but it's moving forward at a steady and stuttering pace! Maybe a human tendency to anthropomorphize but I love those sounds that turn into voices of creatures. I thought it was very fun to listen to! You know me...

this is wild in headphones! psychedelic even

I'd be curious to hear more about this:
"what kind of tools i want to take into my box,"
are talking musical tools?

hope u have a peaceful week, Friend

It sounds like an alien forest! Definitely fun to listen to.

This has a lot going for it. Really enjoying some of these sounds.

It's really captivating. No need to defend it! Cool stuff.

Glad you had fun! I was also hearing some of the sounds as creatures, maybe also when it doesn’t make a lot of sense musically we try to make sense of it in other ways. I guess i was just trying to make noises…

Hey! Thank you!
I guess that is what I was talking about. I’ve been trying out some new plugins and a new controller. Not sure if it’s possible for me to articulate exactly what I’m concerned about or what i want out of the tools. Ive been mostly trying to record everything and not copy paste to many things avoiding loops and so on. I guess its just that the stuff that i have put up here is very process oriented, and if change anything in the process it kind of changes “everything”. But i don’t mind things changing i was getting bored with the process, so i dont know what the problem is haha. could write more but the more i write the more confused i feel about this. And also it was last weeks thinking, i think this week i’ve had another mindset…
