just an experiment in working with distorted things: distorted kicks, distorted hi-hats, distorted snares, and distorted synths... to practice how to make something coherent and somewhat clearly mixed and mastered despite all the distortions.
similar to last week, i saved working on the bassline til the last minute, and then decided, since i couldn't come up with something that worked well, i'd scrap it, and upload what i had so far.
(to be fair to myself: i am in a bit of a transitioning living-situation... all my gear is piled up, disorganized, in a corner, and i have no proper chair to sit in: i sit on a plastic crate(stolen long ago from a Safeway parking lot), with a toolbox on top for added height 
...i wonder how much this uncomfortable sitting situation makes me gravitate towards angsty/gritty sounds, haha... anyways, hope to keep up with weekly beats and hopefully move to a more settled situation, then observe how the music changes over time as a result 
)
May we all get to release our wigglez as much as we'd like and need to this year
