This is Our Someday

So this song was written using lines from the wedding vows my wife and I wrote six years ago. I wanted to explore using a bunch of vocals to sound like a choir. So, no church choirs were used in the creation of this song. Haha.
It’s kinda cheesy, but my wife loves it, so that’s what matters most to me.
I used the vocoder harmony thing inspired by Ed Sheeran’s song, Afterglow. Came out kinda cool. I probably overused it. Oh well. Enjoy!

Did you sell your soul to the devil?

Your self-choirs sound great. You're really getting your vocal recording technique dialed in. And obviously your voice is amazing. Nice lyrical idea. CC: I think the vocoder and the choir are both very cool, but I think they are should be brought forward (or bring down the lead vocal) to highlight them more.

Interesting. That’s how it was right before I submitted. Haha. I felt like the vocal was too impersonal. Thanks for the feedback!

Great song my friend. I love the vocal melody on verses!. Not sure about the vocoder, I would use it to emphasize some words or sentences but not all time. On choruses, since the vocal melody pivots around a single note, I would suggest you to try to build a more complex chord’s progression behind it. Some parts on choirs are beautiful men!!

It's very, very pretty, and very sweet.
I will say though, to get that real choir feeling, it's best to record the vocals a couple of times instead of a harmonizer. It seems you are doing that as well to great effect.
Aside from that, really nice.

I actually did both. I used a vocalizer, but then at the end I recorded like 12 different vocal tracks.
