Greener

I learned a lot this week. This song was inspired by my old boss who tried to keep my from leaving by saying "The grass isn't always greener on the other side." Classic abusive partner shit. Well he was wrong. Haha. Anyway, if I had more time, I think I would definitely make the song shorter and less repetitive. Maybe not repeat each chorus. But whatever. It's week 2! Thanks for listening.

It's got a good vibe man, I didn't expect that change before the guitar solo, it's got a lot of potential. The production is much better than in the previous song... and it's not repetitive at all (at least for me). Good track!

I think it's really cool that you first use this chord change right after the first chorus, but you re-contextualize it after the bridge to lead into the solo. Sneaky. Epic sound! I don't feel like it is too repetitive either. Nice job!

Really nice acoustic playing and nice use of the delay effect on your vocals to extend through the empty space! Powerful ending section too!

Very nice tune!

Great songwriting and powerful voice! Looking forward to hearing more! smile

This is a really fantastic song! Vocals are awesome too. Great work!! big_smile

That intro acoustic passage is really really good! The verse vocal melody is really nice too. It's got a bit of an ambiguous emotional quality to it. Kind sad, kinda hopeful, also kind of nostalgic too. This is a well written song. I don't mind the length of it either. I think it does a nice job building up to the end with the lead guitar and vocals together to close everything out on a strong note.
