This is one that I had started, played with and kept revisiting but this time some things finally started moving on it to bring it to completion.

I started with the drum beat and the section from around 1:50 to 2:08, the fast arp.
I ended up adding some more hypersynth chords that then became the center section, maybe a super super long bridge of sorts?

I tried my best to add layers and variation to the most repeated parts as the song goes on.
I made the decision to keep the drums pretty repetitive but I think there's enough going on it ends up serving as kind of a rhythmic backbone.

Enjoy! Thanks as always to everyone who listens and comments.

I'm glad you revisited this! I thought the drums went well with this track; nice work.

That line at 0:54 and again 3:12 is super catchy for me. That bit of syncopation and that particular plucky synth sound just clicks ... I'll be humming that for a while I think! The variations are really nice throughout too. Nice track!

Seriously cool tune. I dug it the whole way through.

love those arps!

OOOOHHHH I love this!!! The second voice that comes in around 0:51 fits in SO smoothly.

I like how the drums remain a constant as all else is changing around them - it gives the song a solid anchor. I'm really enjoying this, great job.

oh good! i wasn't going to be able to sleep tonight!   smile

Sounds like magical exploration. I dig the timbres you chose and the rich arrangement. Plenty of stuff going on, I appreciate the motion. The final leads during the last minute are awesome!

Nitpick: this is a tiny suggestion: the very beginning is devoid of reverb, which other instruments gradually bring. I'd try giving that initial synth bass sound at least a little reverb to make the beginning meld together with the rest of the track. Alternatively, some environmental sound like wind or whatever would help.

love those synths, and very groovy drum track too.

Thanks man! Appreciate the suggestion as well, I can see how a lil' more verb wouldn't hurt.
