helloooo week 47

I finished this one up with my new m8 model 2, so stoked!
(selling my model 1 if anyone in the WB community is interested)

I found this cool rhythmic sample that I carried throughout the song.
I paired some pad synths with a nice bass line that keeps things moving forward.
And then a more energetic chorus with some melodies that build well.

I'm happy with this one. The chorus was resurrected from my efforts the following week that I just couldn't get to come together. Always nice when you can complete some good ideas into a finished song.

Thanks everyone for listening!
Shout out to all my loyal listeners, appreciate you!

Really cool percussion instruments! The change a 1 minute is juicy. And now this dreamy creamy lead ... then the super saw organ line! Hell yeah! This was so awesome! Nice work!

Oh man, that wide spread on that sort of watery rhythm sounds great! Tight, crispy beat...loved how that served as the foundation for the whole song. Change of direction at 1:00 was great, loved the pulse to it....and then that DROP at 1:53. YEEEAAAAH, Really loved how this track rose and fell.....really fun dynamics. Great track!

hooked me instantly with that throaty flute sound right at the top.

the way the track bursts into the secret mad scientist laboratory, but it ends up being chill. like all the half-human, half-robot abominations are friendly and like "tells us of the world beyond"

Ooooooof, this is creamy. Congrats on getting the Model 2!! Psyched for you. Curious how much you're selling your Model 1 for? (or interested in trades of some sort?). Back to the track, lots of great stuff goin on here. Especially the big synths that come in at 1:50. Definitely changes the feel, and then at 2:30 we're back to coasting. Lovely sound palette, all the ingredients feel just right for the soup.

Oof, smooth, sweet, dripping like liquid honey.  This is some awesome ear candy. Theres some fantastic transitions from/into "scenes" that i really appreciate here - trackers can sometimes create artificial breaks between chains and you're slipping through with expert smoothness. Great track!

SQF loyal listener tuning in once again for some tasty goodness. I'm happy to report I absolutely got my fill. Sadly, tho, I still want more, hahahaha...
I'm really happy to hear you got your hands on an M8 Model:02! So fun, right? The screen and battery are just so good... USB C and microphone are a fun addition, but screen and battery are whag really got me to go for it. Hope you enjoy it and that your M:01 finds a new loving home.

Also, HOLY SHIT when the 2 minute mark hits I just wanted to jump out of bed and start boogeying. These tunes are so up my alley... Great stuff!!!

The one thing on my mind is, who is the Crimson Crush really?

I love the atmosphere here. Nice work!

It's good not to discard unfinished ideas.  Sometimes they're just waiting for the right moment to shine.  This track takes us on quite a journey with some nice peaks and valleys and lots of interesting scenery along the way.

Great shift at 01:00, I appreciate such rhythmic synth lines and then the chord progression later on gives it a different atmosphere that feels perfect for the melodic line that comes next.
Great track!

omg, SQF

had to throw on the phones for this. i'm so glad i did!

my ears may never be the same! what a sassy groove!

This is such a groove jam.  Love that chorusy super fast delay type effect on the high hat like "tick" sounds, creates a really awesome "the music is coming from inside my HEAD!!!" effect.

Awesome, I thought the 1:00 change might be a little too different but it seems to work! I'm also happy with the rise and fall of it glad you are too!

Thanks! Scenes are a great way to put it. 100% agree that it's real easy to smash two pieces together on a tracker and I'm glad these all smashed together felt smooth.
