Bad Math W29

Week 29!

All m8 this week.
Pretty much my typical workflow now, come up with a drum beat, bass line or melody and then copy it, add some parts over top, copy it, remove something, add something different and end up with a bunch of song pieces.

Start putting them together, toss some out, come up with some new parts that fit better once arrangement gets further along.

I hope I'm not getting to comfortable in this process and can keep things original, fresh and slightly experimental going forward.

And at the end of the week, I like what I've got, I hope you do too!

just killer. feels fresh to me! love that change around 1:20.
the synth parts are so strong on this. really nice work

I think everyone has their own method that works for them and sometimes it's good to step outside it, but it's nice to have that way of doing things to return to.  It often does feel like assembling puzzle pieces together.  Everything flows really well here and has a really great energy to it.  It really gets pretty epic by the end.

LOUD!

love those punchy drums, thick synths chord progressions and quite like the interesting melodie lines played fairly low. This adds to "hi-energy".

Very cool. those portamentos are super fun.

The beat hooked me right away with those dark synth leads.  Ohh yais that change at 1:22 is awesome! \m/  Feels like I just got invincibility in a game.  Ah yes and those portamentos are extra appreciated too.  I like that lil extra drum fill as well.  Well done!

Very badass!!! The main lead has a super gothic vibe, especially when the second voice kicks in at around 0:30. Really cool!!!!

Awesome! I had that middle part at 1:22 and wasn't super sold at first on this arrangement but the more I listened the more I liked it. I added another synth on top to transition out of it. The extra drum fill is borderline cheesy but it works smile Thanks for the listen and comment!

Yooo thanks! Appreciate it!

Formalizing the process isn't bad, it's optimized, it's bad math, but good business
