Planned Iridescence (WB17)

More bug music. Imagine the stress and strain of being a preying mantis having to stand perfectly still balancing in the wind on careful ground waiting for your next meal to stumble into range yet having to stay poised to strike at all times. Still, calm, yet not still and not calm.

Had to put something together quickly today. Spent about 2 hours on a Sunday morning tossing this together with some patterns and a bit of recorded whistling. Didn't bother with trying to get the best quality recording because it was gonna get crushed by fx anyway. Turned out kinda neat. the wompwomp instrument is actually a bass drum with stereo phasing put on it big_smile
