Persistent Melody (WB40)

Continuing my trend of automatic writing with some harmonium and ocarina drone smile

Put down a basic drum pattern in ableton, improvised a bit on the harmonium, chopped it up to make a structure and did a single take of ocarina over top! One bell to bring it together smile A quick bit of compressors, some reverb, limiters, some panning and duplication and I'm pretty happy with that for the effort it took. Total work time about 1 and a half hours on a Sunday afternoon before the deadline

this is more than beautiful. I feel touched deeply while listening to the ocarina. like it wants to speak to me. you did an absolute marvellous track. thank you.

This is a great song to get lost into

Haunting, yet all at once, seductive and hopeful heart

That's a challenging set of juxtapositions to balance lol

I feel like I'm in a japanese western and the shooting is about to start. Nice one.
