Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.

Got a bit lost along the way and ended up making a canon style slow jam this week. Spent an hour and a half writing patterns and messing with sound levels. about 30 minutes building the structure and another hour mixing it all together with the fx. total work time about 3 hours between 1 am and 4 am lolz

Don't you mean canon? If so, it might be the crazy high release, but I don't actually hear a canon.
You have given me a good idea for next week though.
dig the bassline here, and what the track grows into as a whole. those rim percs are great as well, keeps the momentum while really complementing that sparse palette you've got going on.
