Fucking Whatever

You know when you sit down to write a track, and everything flows effortlessly, parts fit together just right first time, and it barely feels like work?

This isn't one of those tracks.

This was one of those tracks that fights you tooth and nail the whole way and you end up doubting your skill, sanity, and general worth as a human being.

I foolishly decided to experiment with two different things at the same time and it was a self-induced reality-questioning nightmare. I'm still not happy with it, but I learned a fair bit, so I guess that's a plus.

E2S builtins only, beats and bassline pre-sequenced, lead and master FX played live. I didn't even keep count of how many takes this took. I'm only posting this version because I've lost all perspective and need to move on. CC0 because it's fucking worthless. If you can make anything good out of this, you're welcome to it.

Oh, man--do I hear you there.  Some of these tracks are like fighting The Blob--resisting any form or structure whatsoever. Respect to you for persevering!  It's an aggressive, posthuman crunchfest up in here!

Came for the track title, stayed for the real talk.  I totally know what you mean.  My track two weeks ago was one where I was considering quitting music in the middle of it - I got so stressed out.  Congrats on following through and not giving up.  Fight the good fight!  The skills learned in this battle will be repaid in the form of another track that flows out of you joyfully!  Nice beat + squelchies.
