solid state liquid snake (water life sound machine)

idk if any of you suffer from cluster headaches, i hope not. i don't recommend them, not that you'd be able to help that. this song is about my struggles with them. i've dealt with them since i was 18 and had no idea what they even were until i was almost 30. they are truly terrible, but there is solace to be found in psilocybin! it sounded crazy to me, but they do keep a solid two years of peace on your belt after just one dose. anyway. this song grew out of the sounds and just like a headache, couldn't be stopped, only endured. it was nice to get this track done so early in the week and i'm submitting it now just in case i don't get another chance to do music in this busy week ahead. heart

Whoa! This has a serious level of intensity. Much like cluster headaches, I imagine. Listening for a second time now. There is so much nice stuff going on. The vocal performance is rocking excellent!! But everything else is top notch, too. Very well done!!! Hopefully the Psilocybin will help you keep the cluster headaches at bay. And keep making cool, powerful stuff like this!

Once again, that's some power here!
Consider my face torn off, in a irritatingly pleasant way. heart

The verses remind me of an artist a friends showed me on Bandcamp a couple years ago, Psychic Sex. The attitude in the spoken word verses is very similar. Maybe you'd like it!
Very interesting to learn about cluster headaches, I hope you're getting them managed these days.

You are on a roll!!!

Bass patch is very familiar with last week track. I love that stuff!

Very well done. I wish you do not get too many of those headache... I can't imagine how difficult it can be.

Rock ON!

Love the production & harmony on the chorus/ "run the water" part.

I have a family member who suffers from cluster headaches. it's very infrequent (often years between them) but its days of terror when they strike. super well crafted, dynamic arrangement. my favorite is the verses on this. very cool riff and groove.

Wow. So dynamic and expressive. Cathartic to listen to, like the best heavy music.. but more than just heavy, there's a story, an experience. Very interesting

This goes crazy hard. Never had to deal with them, fortunately.

your distorted vox are so badass, and very effective at conveying the feeling. i like all the other sounds, roiling beneath / around. feels like how you know there are other "life things" going on outside of you, but when you are in pain they are fuzzy and pushed away. very psychedelic.
wishing you continued relief from the clusters!

oh wow

that's a nice genre mix, I really dig it

great stuff!

Love that gritty bass grooving with the drums.  Awesome energy from your vocals with the heavy guitar.  I hope you get some relief from the clusters soon.  Excellent way to channel that feeling.  Well done!
