Cheese mountain indeed. ;-) Seriously though, it's a nice cut little tune. I enjoyed it. And yeah, we all could use more time.

brilliant sound
great guitar playing
only one drawback - it stays pretty tame / easy listening / "correct"... I wish it went a little more crazy and with more duende if u know what I mean. like moments where you play with reckless abandon. the composition and your chops can support it, I guess it's only a matter of if you have the energy / inspiration / desire to go there. of course if you are just playing with drum machines etc it's not possible to really go 110% but yea. curious how you feel about it, or if you did give it all you got in which case I'm sorry to have misread it (I guess based on your comment about limited time, I get that it's also a limiting factor). in any case the track sounds amazing, well done

The world always needs more super chill 80ies Japanese style instrumental noodling. Love the loose live band feel you managed to achieve even with lots of programmed elements. I'd love to get this on a vinyl record and play it on a relaxed summer evening hanging out with some friends.

Thanks for the in-depth comment, and thanks for leaving nice comments on numerous tracks!

My workflow is quite spontaneous and feel-based, and often I get more into the feeling as the deadline closes in. I also think your notion about "energy / inspiration / desire" holds place. I try not to flex, but I do these tracks as a side quest, almost as a weekly therapy session, where I delve into my guilty pleasures without remorse or other considerations - and I'd like to keep it that way smile I know what you mean about this tune "missing" the element of danger and over-the-topness that I usually go for, but I do not dwell on these things. Sometimes come golden nuggets out of my musings and sometimes nuggets of a lesser valor. smile

I'm glad you like it!

Very cool and insightful. And healthy approach. Keep doing what you're doing!

I also was immediately catapulted to Japan listening to this. Great playing and very catchy smile

more time is always a good thing to have and normal to want
cherish spending it with things you love, like me with this song
