Really like the bass line, I'd have push it a bit more forward it I was doing the mix.
Solid "indie" rock track.
Really like the guitar work.
Yeah, the bass really propels things along, but the guitars and synths are nice, too.
Getting a "Sodabelly's basement in 2002" vibe from this! Where's the lightshow?
Enjoyed this a lot!
**nods in sync wit da bass** awesome guitar solo! The drums have awesome energy too! \m/
really nice piece, love the guitar (yelling at my new guitar to sound like that, as it stares back at me knowing its a me not him problem, lol)
Good driving music, this.
^ 100%
i dig when you go in moody rock mode! you were ripping it up on guitar!
love those Cure-esque keys too. really nice work
Despite the tempo this is kind of a slow burn. At first the piece is pretty minimal, but then it opens up fantastically. Takes flight. That wailing solo in the middle is so full of feel. Glad it reprised for the finale with all that FM goodness.
At first the sound made me think of some early eighties Factory Records band. Cool post-punk vibe. The noisy production adds a whole patina of vague 80s nostalgia.
Were you wearing some beaten-up Rough Trade t-shirt while playing this, Sodabelly?
