We're having friends stay with us this week so didn't have a lot of time for WB (what else is new!), so I sat down for a couple of hours and this is what came out. I'm noticing that I keep going to the same handful of VST instrument settings and templates that I have saved so maybe next week I will try to not use any of those to challenge myself a little. Enjoy!

You can use those pianos-strings-woody upright bass as much as you need to. It sounds great.

Beautiful chords and arpeggios, nice build up.

Fun "rock" drums.

I really appreciated that. You are on a great streak this year!

Really pretty stuff.  I wasn't expecting the way that it built.  Gets pretty epic there and then the outro brings us down gently.  Nice one.

Challenges are always fun but comforting familiarity can be just as good too.  Such a peaceful and serene atmosphere with this one.  Love how the woodwinds sound too.  Oof that piano melody is haunting and lush.

i will never be mad to be visited by these sounds

Dramatic and intense. Beautiful

Really, really beautiful!

Another comment after finishing the entire track (apologies!): If you make tracks like this with the same VSTs, I see absolutely no reason at all to avoid using them in future tracks smile. I also think that these sounds have a very high reuse value, right? I would definitely come back for more.

Thanks for listening everybody! smile

Beautiful. Really love when that simple beat and synth bass comes in, really transforms the track! Also, its good to have reliable familiar synth friends, and good to introduce them to new synth friends lol

Excellent sounds

Really really lovely.

Nothing wrong with good ambient. But this I think goes outside of that space, more into descriptive territory. Like a missing track from the "Horizon: Zero Dawn" soundtrack. Especially when the drums kick in, we're decidedly outside of ambient territory.

I like the slow burn, the imagery you're building is beautiful throughout. No notes, five stars.
