Infinite Stage

Wanted to try something in the shoegaze realm this week. Was really hoping to get around to adding some vocals but did not happen. Enjoy!

Nice shoegaze! A vocal version can always come later, but I like it a lot already as is. big_smile

Really captures that dreamy feeling well.  It's nice to just sort of bliss out to it.

Well done, very ethereal and calming.

Great stuff! No vocals needed, i think. Worksfine just like it is. The moment when the drum beat comes in in the middle is epic!

oh this is gorgeous. can def hear it with breathy reverbed vox, but it totally stands as an instrumental piece too.

carries me down the river with the wind blowing

Man I love me a Shoegaze, and this is very much in that vein for sure.  Awesome piece, so easy to get lost in.  Fun fact, Steph Economou (the first person to win a Grammy for video game music) wrote the score for Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken as kind of a love letter/deep investigation of Shoegaze and Dream Pop... the movies also not bad, if you coming of age type tween cartoon type films... but the score is kind of awesome.

First notes and I'm immediately in Slowdive territory. Yeah, vocals would be killer for this! But without vocals there's a certain "Lost Wishes" (by the Cure) vibe that's just lovely.

Oooh love the instant mood with the pulsing rhythm.  The guitar line sounds great in the mix as it's contrasting the synth pads.  Also really cool how the pulsing rhythm transforms into the bassline a bit.  Love when the ride cymbals come in too.  Those synth pads really add to the shoegaze feels.  Excellent work!
