Well it's April 14th and I thought I'd pay homage to the great Aphex track Avril 14. Wish I had some more time this week as I was really getting into this but alas, it's time to go to work. Enjoy!

WOW, you offered me a deep dive into a lot of aspects to this song. I interrupted the weekly beats to go for YouTube and found pretty much informations around this beautiful song. Your interpretation is fantastic too. Very very good job. Thanks

So delicate and charming! The strings and wind chimes are definitely nice additions. And then the glockenspiel, just wonderful. Hope you had a happy April 14th! heart

I myself celebrated Avril 14th with an Adlib Tracker cover big_smile

Thanks! Awesome version by the way, which strangely enough sounds more Aphex-y than his original piano version lol

gentle and moving tribute   heart

very tender arrangement, I am not familiar with this track but love chasing rabbits, thank you!

this is so good. such a great piece.

Well this is a lovely piece.  I really love the transition at around 1:00, really sets up nicely for the tonal chances in the second half.

Gosh I always forget about that day cuz it's such a beautiful song.  Love that album and this is a beautiful homage to it.  Strings sound so nice like you had a quartet right there.  The piano has such a calming sound to it too.  Great job!

Thanks. Honestly, I need to stop using the Labs Cello Moods every week because it feels like cheating tongue

Really beautiful interpretation of one of my favorite pieces of music. heart
