Flow

This week has been a good one.

I upgraded to Ableton 12 and was immediately hooked on playing with the new instruments and packs it has to offer. The Rhodes piano sounds and drum kits really caught my attention, as did the muted bass. I spent a few days exploring these sounds and coming up with new melodies and musical parts.
When the weekend arrived, I decided it was time to take all these ideas and polish them up on my laptop. This involved adding a bit more structure to the music, fine-tuning the melodies and even incorporating some vintage synth sounds from Arturia's Juno and Prophet to give it that old school vibe. I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out. The track has a lightness to it that really helps to lift my spirits, which is great as I've been dealing with some anxiety again this week. Overall, I love this ongoing process of making music. I feel like I'm really getting into the groove now.

This beat is a reminder of the small victories in the face of challenges and celebrates the art of going with the flow. enjoy!

Such a chill and pleasant vibe, love the Rhodes sound and the drums especially but everything compliments well. As you've said, it feels really positive and uplifting as a listener. smile

Relaxing. Very nicely mixed, the e-piano is indeed very pleasant. Good job on this!

nice and grounded song! feels uplifting but also a bit heavy - it has a lot of heart!

I like the composition, it has a bit of variety but it holds together well. those synths coming in later are delicious! well done on the sound design.
