Facing the Tide

"In the Depths of Doubt: Week 10 Unveiled - This week's musical journey has undoubtedly been the most challenging voyage yet. Amidst a storm of emotions and a sea of distractions, finding inspiration has been like searching for a lighthouse in the fog. The beginning was promissing, yet as the days unfolded, waves of self-doubt crashed against the shores of creativity, making it difficult to anchor my focus on the track. Despite these tumultuous conditions, the distinct sound of the drums became a beacon of joy, and the exploration of polymeters and synths became a playground of sonic discovery. It's in these moments of play and experimentation that I found solace, reminding myself that the essence of creativity is not in the perfection of the outcome but in the courage to persist. This week was a profound lesson in resilience, teaching me that showing up, even for the smallest act of creation, is a testament to the commitment to one's art. In the end, what we have is a track that, despite its imperfections, stands as a monument to overcoming self-doubt and embracing the process. I am proud, not because the track is flawless, but because it is a reflection of my dedication to this craft, a symbol of showing up every day, no matter the internal storms. Here's to Week 10 - a week of embracing imperfections, celebrating small victories, and learning that, in the rhythm of life, consistency is indeed key.

I do not hear so many imperfections in this track. Everything works very well. And yes, weeklybeats is a wonderful challenge for us to pick up the musical gifts, that are blooming at at the edge of the efforts we are investing.

The track sounds amazing, love the slight crunch on the drums, just the perfect amount. I understand the feeling and the self doubt, I know I have been there myself, although I would have never guessed from listening to the track as it sounds fully finished and very 'pro' !
