Once again some arpeggio was spinning in my head on Monday. I popped on my Kawai K4 and it all came out like one big thought in one hour.
Later on Tuesday I built the arrangement.
Wednesday I was in a point that there was nothing to be added. I was happy with it. All I needed was some reasonable mixing - and oh boy did I went on deep end of it, until I lost my interest on mixing. I think I did decent. The bassline was recorded in stereo, but I changed it to mono so it wouldn't take too much space.
On Friday I wanted to test some 303 acid lines on top of it, but it went way too hectic, so I decided it was there already, don't add anything, just stick what I've got and be happy with it.
All sounds are recorded from Kawai K4, so it's kind of a showcase of this digital resonant filter kind of love affair I'm having right now. Sequenced and arranged in Reaper, some fx again from Arturia FX plugins.
The lead melody is somehow uplifting and aetheresque, so I think the title reminds for the days of Olympic Games in Italy.
