Bare Knuckle Hand Model

As per what I think the brief is here I focused on finishing rather than polishing.

Started as a sketch on the M8 with a Streets of Rage and 90s beat-em-up vibe in mind (as I almost always do), then arranged and mixed in Ableton. Added extra drums using an MPC Live II for more weight and movement. Also used Cube and Polymax VST synths for melodic additions and tonal variation.

Staunch and beefy. I like the sparse, expansive atmosphere (doesn't sound remotely empty, arrangement-wise, tho). Empty streets in a dodgy part of town vibes.

Ooh, love the screetchy sounds, a prelude to more chaos. I totally dig it.

Thumbs up. Twitchy and dramatic. Cool sounds.

Pretty cool bass you got there.

insta-favourite. I love the unexpected twists, sound design wise and melody wise!

Excellent sounds, excellent vibes, clean package, musical. I dig it.

Precisely the vibe I was hoping for! Dystopian violent nighttime streets Thanks for having a listen.

I don't think I've done something as chaotic since. Perhaps it's time to remedy that!

Thanks. Twitchy and dramatic describes my mindset perfectly sometimes.

I dig that you dig. More in this vein to come.

this is freaking great. love grit and the contrasting bright resonant percussive elements. also with twelve week of backlog, I want to commend you on your naming of your tracks. this one in particular made me both laugh and really direct what I imagined while listening to it. very nice work
