Empty Boxes

I had a party
Went downstairs to let in my friend
we just got pizza delivered
let’s get a slice while it’s fresh
Hurried back upstairs
saw the feeding frenzy
all the pizza was gone
Are you kiddin’ me?

Empty boxes
are full of pain
I lick the grease-stained cardboard
it’s not the same

are bringin’ me down
Empty boxes the only boxes I’ve found

Got the comp-ny e-mail
Board meeting’s all done
leftovers in the break room
get em before they/re gone
I sprint down the hallway
pushed Karen into the wall - she was in the lead
but by the time I arrive
empty boxes are all I see

I’m sooo tired
I’ve been losing sleep

Open the song in Audacity, select the part you want to fade out, effect->fade out.
