Super last minute attempt at a song. This may be the quickest recording I've made so far! Started late as seems to be usual now.  Just been so busy lately that I haven't had the energy to work on music during the week. Found a nice 2 chord vamp on my phone from earlier this year that inspired some other parts. I think the beginning and ending sections came out pretty nice. Not really sure what was going on in the middle part but didn't have time to figure it out. I almost didn't submit this week but in the spirit of avoiding perfectionism I decided to just go with it and try to finish it out. It's pretty short but I'm pleased with it. Used the Logic drum machine in the spirit of working quickly.

Hell yeah, good vibes on this. Feels appropriately summer-like too, like chill beach music with swagger. And then a shark starts swimming close to shore around 1:42, lol. That whole section is really cool because who ambiguous it feels but there's quite a bit of tension. Strong ending too! Glad you were able to make this on such a short time limit.

I think you're getting a better feel for putting the bass in the mix. This sounds really nicely balanced. Quickie, but sounds nice. Keep it up!

This is super pleasant to listen to. Good job.

Thanks! I kinda wish I had started this one earlier because I do like all the sections and I think it wouldn’t be too hard to make it flow a little better and some more parts but at least there is a rough draft now.

I’ve learned to turn down the distorted guitar tracks just a little and also to not be afraid to turn the bass up! Glad you liked it and glad it sounded ok.
