Afternoon in the Meadow

By Saguaro Gigante on May 5, 2024 9:39 pm

This week I was listening to some music from Chrono Trigger which made me very nostalgic. I tried to come up with a little tune inspired by that era of video game music.

Damn, this took me back haha. Love the feeling of that era of RPGs man! Great tune!

If we find another guy we might be able to cover the whole day in a meadow!

Great stuff man

Lol, what a coincidence between you and Beefpounder on the song titles. And damn dude, this is GREAT. It really does sound like a track that would have been in Chrono Trigger. It's absolutely spot on. There's a great exchange between the primary melody and how you start that departure at  0:20 seconds to explore a darker chord progression while seamlessly transitioning back to the main melody again. Also it's pretty cool you're able to get these kinds of retro-snes sounds from the stock plugins of Logic.

I don't know what we're talking about! But, nice job.
