I welcome all critical feedback. Can relicense if you're interested, just ask.
Welcome to Week 11. I had different musical plans for this submission, but the Disquiet Junto inspired me with this week's prompt about music for bell and drone, so here we are. A drone.

For the foundation of the track I employed Analog Rytm. It’s droning its SY DUAL two-oscillator synthesizer voice while its HH LAB engine provides the high frequency sparkles vaguely sounding like electric infrastructure. All of it is pushed through its internal reverb, delays, distortion, and compression. That’s the drone throughout the entire track. All analog! Haven't used the entire Analog Rytm as a mono synth before, but hopefully you agree that this distorted bass done is deliciously meaty.
The bells are both synthesized (Opsix and Osmose) and field recordings that I made in Thailand in December 2023. There’s also a stereo Subharmonicon in the background here and there providing some rhythmic scaffolding where needed.
111 BPM 4/4, C-major. No AI used in any part of the process. For this year every cover art is a photo I took.
