Sin Twice

An improvised piece performed on the Syntrx 2.  I performed one take and then improvised another take to that one to create the piece.  One tiny string part was added in post but 98% of it is Syntrx.

Video of the patch in action.

The drone is rumbling and fuzzing, like a strange animal asleep. Better not wake it up.

Nice ominous mood.  I like the fuzzy textures.

Maybe it's just that I was too influenced by sci-fi of late 70's early 80's, but there is nothing quite like music made with a device that looks like a flight control panel from a soviet space capsule.  Really awesome piece.  Great use of sound design as a tool for musical development, the builds and releases of tension are very well executed. Awesome track.

Really cool drone. Settled my brain right down.

THE BEES ARE COMING FROM INSIDE MY BRAIN

Thanks!  It's definitely a synth made for exploration.  An audio playground full of surprises.
