Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting December 29th 2025 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

All sounds are from the erhu. I had a studio session with an amazing erhu player called Felix Wang who I'm currently mentoring in creative practices. This piece contains 2 custom virtual instruments I created from the recordings of Felix plus a mildly edited take of one of his performances for the lead parts.

Oh wow, that is such an interesting sound from the erhu, not sure how to describe it but it sounds very alive, more like you are listening to an animal and not an instrument. This is hauntingly beautiful.
