Into the Den

By rdomain on January 11, 2026 11:11 am

A variation of the same patch as last week with some added modules such as LPG, Filter and sample player for the voice sounds.  Minimal edits in post again.

Patch in action at https://www.instagram.com/p/DTR6lH0EmlK/
You can't hear the bass line much in the video though.

Horrible chitinous limbs clattering in worship to their insect gods. The flesh of man searing off the pyre the horrendous creatures encircle.
So sinister and awful, I love it so much.

Oh this is definitely the song that plays when I'm dealing with my sleep paralysis demon as its coming in through the walls. DAMN, so creepy, hahahaha.  Nice job!

This is great - the chittery percussion with its quick stereo delay almost hurt my head, giving this otherwise ominous track an extra sense of danger. Deliciously evil!

rdomain over here soundtracking all of our nightmares!

Textures of a fever dream, i love it!

Great dubby textures, such skill over those low frequencies, love the vocal chops that come in and out.

Possibly a favourite description of one of my songs.  Haha.  So good.  Thanks. smile

Thanks!  From memory there's no delay on the percussion so probably stereo placement of the varying sounds??  Deliciously evil.... excellent.  smile

Thanks Jason and I'm glad you appreciated the low frequencies in the mix.  Definitely a fine art to get them sounding huge and sculpted without it just making a mess of everything.  A heavy sub/dub bass mix challenge was what I was going for so cool to hear.  smile

The usage of glitch as a percussive element is very inspiring. The metallic clash in the distance and the voices give the sense of a dark place, with shadows moving around and strange things happening. Very evocative!

Oh fuck yeah this is the good stuff!
