Falcon Ascends

By rdomain on March 15, 2026 12:53 pm

Another song using nothing but custom Falcon patches.

I really ran out of time due to the amount of shows I've had recently so I probably would have developed my patches and the piece further but I think it stands well as a solid industrial piece for the time I did have.

Appropriately doomy!

Somehow reminds me of the Dune soundtrack

This sounds urgent and bleak, caustic and full. I love it.

I do do solo shows but not very often as I've been enjoying the collaborative projects more over the years.  I've got a death metal gig on bass coming up this Thursday with Tzun Tzu, I played a post rock gig on guitar with Molloy the other week, a week before that I actually played WOMAD which was amazing.  That was on modular synth with a shamisen player.  We're called Yasha.  And before that I played another awesome gig supporting De La Soul where I play bass in a hiphop band!  That's called Bloomy Meadows.  And crazily, I have at least 4 other live projects that I do so yes; occasionally things get hectic hence the no responding for a while.  Currently typing this as a student hasn't shown up to his guitar lesson.  hehe.

Very imposing. Not scary, but more awestriking by a something colossal.

Yes, definitely busy.  Just played another festival with the hiphop group.  Next is supporting Exhumed from the US with the death metal band.  I'm also part of a program where I've been chosen to mentor an up and coming artist hence that erhu piece I submitted the other week.  Can't complain though as it's all creative work!
