Burden of a Modern World

By rdomain on December 8, 2024 12:17 pm

I've just completed 3 days in a row of playing gigs this Sunday and hadn't done my WB yet. I wanted to do another OP-1 song but it did end up taking longer than I was hoping.  Hope you enjoy.

There's a track of lofi wooziness, a janky piano, a stretched live radio sample via the OP-1 also and my backyard birds were featured again.  It was coming into dusk so the birds were settling in for the night and my chickens were curious as to what I was doing with a strange white synth in the backyard.

The Lofi quality in here resonates very well with my receptors. Feeling the music extremely pleasant.

I hope the gigs went well. How do you approach 3 gigs in a row? Is everything more or less decided, or do you go for long improvs like in your tracks? I also wonder if you use hardware for gigs, as this must be quite complicated to juggle with cables etc.
I like that the birds are featured in the track - i always feel that real sound ground the music. And it sounds like the wind is there though it's probably a synth.

dude, the weight of this track is immense. It could very well pull the moon itself out of orbit.
I *bleep*ing love it.
