A Sea of Dreams

By rdomain on April 11, 2026 7:48 am

All created using UVI Falcon.
It started with a custom patch where I did various key splits with different sounds and effects in different zones.  I then recorded a small performance on it and that somehow turned into this song!  Multiple layers of different Falcon patches were used.  You can hear the initial patch isolated at the end of the song if you're curious.

Slowly building up my Falcon patch library one song at a time.

really immersive sound, with those pads hovering
leaves so much room for the bass and kick to come in and steer the ship

Started at this one and didn't stop until "breathe deep to calm the storm".  So many good tracks, great to listen to them in continuation.  I always love the sounds and textures you create and your great skill at balancing the distortion.  This track and and "dissolve" are my favs so far, best of both worlds some dark ambient and the industrial dub vibes.

Thanks!  Yes, sonic space is crucial, especially when dealing with such large sounds at times.

Ah awesome and thanks so much!  A favourite thing of mine is to find the edge of breakup/chaos within sounds as I really enjoy trying to control the instability that creates.  And yes, I just love designing sounds to create with.  heart

Sorry, I've only just gotten round to playing catchup with listening and commenting etc.  No gigs for the rest of the month so hopefully a bit more listening time.  smile
