(my voice is too small for the huge feeling of this track so i left vocals sparse... but i still had an idea i had to get out... i don't understand where the lyrics came from, but after i sang them out, i imagined the following story...)

there once existed...
a planet 'being', surrounded by an atmosphere 'being'...
the two existed in harmony, enveloped by the rapture of their love...
until one day a race of humanoidz came to plunder their material resources...
the two beings surged with such anger, as if crying out, "we do not exist just to serve your needs!"
the heat that pervaded such an environment, where two celestial bodies kept resonating their love for each other in a focused explosion that obliterated their attackers and ripped apart the bonds of the surrounding solar system as a way of protecting all of it from further invasion, then transformed these two into a vast nebula of dust and gas that now stretches the entire width of a galaxy...
there in that galaxy too, a strange unified form of energy bonds all lifeforms into a harmonious relationship with each other now, and a beautiful balance remains upheld...
it is said that this energy is a consciousness, a 'being' in and of itself, the unity of the older planet-being with its lover, the atmosphere-being that surrounded it, before they both destroyed their physical form in order to protect the substance that was most precious to them: the L heart V E they held for each other which honored and respected a universal balance by its own definition.

lyrics:
felt the energy light up
as it came into flow
you could surf the contrast
colliding in a violent glow
we felt the tremors of ghosts
scarring the atmosphere
ripped by embrace of fire
and warmed by the touch of tears

through which i manifest
and have become manifested
through which i manifest
and have become manifested
to that we attest
and by that which we are tested
through which i manifest
and have become manifested

i enjoyed using the polyend tracker for most of the music(also recorded my new 'Peterlin' synth through its input to tweak in full lofi glory - the Peterlin (chaotic) synth is the one that opens the track wailing party-favor/whiny-balloon-like noises which i then tried to 'counterpoint'(haha tongue) with distorted guitar)... had to motivate night before deadline to get banjo and vocals done(no good recording in apartment with neighbors around), so i got my ZoomH4n hooked up with AKG mic in the car(mic was 'mounted' by way of its cable strung around the sun-visor so it hung in front of my face big_smile) and tracked things there(finished everything up in Logic)...
so now i'm introduced to a new, liberated way of working: no need for a studio or scheduling myself around when neighbors aren't home, i can just do all the mic-stuff in the car... at night, everything must be done by headphones... this will help me out so much, not sure why i didn't think of it before... the car has usb jacks too... might be able to power polyend tracker + norns in there smile ...WHILE DRIVING EVEN! mad (just kidding... friends don't let friends drive high-off-of-weeklybeats wink ...then again, now that i have the idea in my head, just try and stop me! mad )

thank you for opening your heart to give it a listen heart

The opening makes me think RajaTheResidentAutechre.

Cool story behind both the song itself and the recording process.  I don't think I've heard of a car studio before, but the results speak for themselves.  Some awesome weirdness on display here.

Glitchy, experimental bedroom or car-pop, nice!

Glitchy I like it

This has a pretty cool flow to it! That vocal-ish bass synth contrasted again the glitchy percussion and the banjo playing is a neat and interesting kind of mood and sound.

Incredible beat! Great narrative voice, I'm v down with half spoken vocals! Great little incursions of a banjo and some other strange sounds in between the broken beat, like signals from another planet. Sounds like this was fun to make, such a wild variety of sounds! There's a lot of dynamics and it doesn't get out of hand at any point, and that's hard to do. Well done!

Really wakes you up as you hit play.

This is a smart composition. I am satisfied.

this is crazy and yet so satisfying, glitch level 10 unlocked!

Crazy cool! When the banjo(?) sounds came in, I was brought back to playing Outer Wilds, what a trip! Digging the low, rumbly sounds throughout - no idea what these are or how they're made, but it's such a cool texture. Maybe the ribbit of a giant space frog?

this is quite something... I really dig the mangled soundworld that teteers between madness and beautiful. The speech parts are cool too

Absolutely wild track, great job

Lots of crunchy groovy glitches throughout.  The bassy synth and drums have an explosive and organic sound to them.  Your vocals fit really nice in between for the mix as well.  Nice work!

man the sound design is out of this world... The mixing is quite unique and engaging... I'm not saying it was aliens but...

the textural chaos in this is a delight. banjo made me think of Outer Wilds! very cool track.

hot damn this is fire. Knew right away I was going to like it with those glitchy beats in the intro. And then the awesome vocals kick in. Love the banjo-ey plucks too. The stuttery beats work really well. Really unique and amazing!

Really unique combination of sounds. I like the melodic stuff a lot. As usual, your vocals are a highlight, you've got such a distinct aesthetic.

This is my kinda thing

I'm feeling these harmonious beings manifesting. Things are manifesting all around in this one, and its a really engaging result. Your voice pulled it together and the banjo really brought some interest. Picturing you in the car with the banjo, that's some ingenuity! Yeah, don't drive while high on WB!

chills Raja!!!  heart

This beat is massive, so satisfying to hear it, I think the way you used your voice on this one works very well.  Never would have guessed the banjo would work with this, but yet it does, great job!

Dang dude, I just re-watched the movie Interstellar the other night and can totally see a montage of film clips to this track.  LOVING hearing your voice more in 2024!
