wasted time

Another 7/7 days working week. That sucked. The little free moment I had, was used for an OP-1 jam on a comfortable sofa. On Sunday night I tried to arrange something from this recording in the last hours that were left. In this case I could make no excentric mixes and don`t have functioning ears anymore. OK, this is number 8.

Ouch, I feel for you.  That's a rough work schedule.  I hope you get some time to relax and refresh soon.  For being a last minute jam, this is still cool and features a lot of great sounds and textures.

Have a good rest after this week! An hypnotic progression with very nice sound textures. I especially like the sound treatment you're doing on the top layer - it sounds like pitch shift, it's pretty interesting!

I really need this dang "submit" button to ignore when I click it before typing anything! I am filling this site up with empty comments. Cool groove. The little timing shift on the kick/hi-hat gives it an interesting feel that keeps it a little bit unsettled.

spacy vibes, fun experiments with parameters, effects, adding to favs.

I feel ya, find myself on the 7/7 schedule way too often. This jam sounds great though, very trippy and chill.

We hear you!!! I do like the irregular drums too. Thanks

And yet you still managed this amazing piece

Sounds great considering how little time you had to put into it. Sometimes it's a grind getting something in for the week, but some great sounds can come out of it. Love the slightly wonky timing and pads/atmosphere/delays.

Sounds great! You generated some interesting sounds and movement here. So full, floating in my spaceship here. 7/7 days sounds tough. I shouldn't complain about 5/7 days anymore!

7/7 is rough. But maybe it's good inspiration for your next beat? Time signature-wise ;-)

A good song comes into being in a short amount of time, just like this song does. Love it.

I really like wonky glides and the beat drop kind took me by surprise.

I find all of your op1 stuff really inspiring. You get such wonderful sounds out of it that feel alive, like they're breathing. Hope you get some rest soon. smile

Nice job on no. 8! I love how the drums are slightly off beat. It gives the whole piece a cool feeling of anxiety. I wish you a very pleasant day off as soon as you get one!

Solid freeform filter and modulation jamming! The synths are dreamy and sound like they're rippling underwater. Some very cool sounds and effects.  Rest up! Hope this next week is a bit more relaxed for you.

Really enjoyed the laid back feel of the drums. Had me swaying and nodding along. Excellent chill vibes. I hope you get some time off soon!

Glide / tape-stop effects are the best! (Back to wanting an OP-1 after convincing myself I don't need any more gear anymore...) Were there any pedals used or only OP-1 effects on this?

Great use of delay time tweaking, this is really cool

Nice work on the OP-1.  Such a great little synth!
I like the unquantised nature of the track.

you're amazing for even doing a track with that much on your plate!  THEN i'm shocked how cool and fun this piece is despite the burnout.  really impressed.

like floating through interstellar space. super cool

man. really dope timing on these hats and the general groove. I wouldn't know to keep this, I would think I fucked up and change it, but you made something really cool out of it. and the lush layers. entrancing track
