indian summerday

By Q-Rosh on August 28, 2022 5:38 pm

I had to change the mixer and cables of the pedals to get rid of this crackel problem. Sunday was the only day to deal with that project and make a new song. It was a beautiful summerday, but I spend my time in the basement. the track became a jam and improvisation with effectpedals around an indian drummachine.

Hope you stayed cool at least
this is a pretty chill song honestly

sounds like a majestic forest of mechanics and magic heart

I sometimes have days like that, where I look out the window and see how nice it is, then disappear back into a book or otherwise a story I'm trying to write. I can almost think of this music as a soundtrack for those days.

Sometimes you have to miss out on a beautiful day to capture some cool otherworldly sounds.  Hope you've resolved all of the technical issues.  Those are always a bummer to deal with.

Really got lost in this one, close your eyes and it drifts your mind away to a mystery place, lots of foreign sounds but all very calming and relaxing.

Listened to your Bergheim 34 album the other day, sounds great on vinyl, in particular enjoyed “Random Access Memory”, “Rababa”, and the pleasant surprise of a Two Lone Swordsmen remix

The guitars can sound like brass or like Chinese string instruments on this track. All layers are merging together nicely, in a color cloud of sounds and atmospheres.

I like how the drums have a muffled effect.  Like they're living underneath the ambience trying to break thru. Excellent meditative track smile

The track gets super dense at times yet doesn't feel over the top.  Always enjoy the use of the natural instruments sounds too amongst the sound mangling.

Ah, yes, late to commenting on this, but was not late on listening! smile

Akin to watching the landscape change through the clouds, a very very pleasant environment to spend some time in. heart
