foogerish revisit

By Q-Rosh on March 3, 2024 5:38 pm

an old song revisited forwards and backwards and driven through my moogerfoogers and other effects. be aware, there is a lot of hiss, clicks and blubbs in here. the voices come from a voicemail and a reel tapemachine.

Another immersive sonic journey into unknown but highly pleasant and welcoming worlds.  The hiss and clicks just adds a nice warm texture to my ears that feels comforting.

What a rich and powerful atmosphere you've conjured up here. smile Beautiful work.

really loving guitar atmosphere, the repeats, blips, bubbles n pops and hiss. wonderful!

beautiful soundscape, nicely done!

It's like riding on a carousel while the rest of the world is paused around you.  The main guitar melody is haunting and beautiful.  Such a meditative and comforting sound throughout. Bravo!

Lovely textural adventure! The voices are nicely processed. It's not exactly like a dream, or a memory, but some kind of nostalgia daydream or someone else's retelling of a dream. The hiss and general sound is pleasant! It has the power to drown out other worse noises of daily life. Appreciated!

Wow.  What an adventure.  Incredible contrast between dreamy and super forward elements.  The stereo imaging at the end almost placed the sound behind me - wild!

Love when we ear the vocals.

Again, super nice textures. All those stomp boxes does get the trick done!

I really like how those "reverse" sounds makes nice Pads.

Very nice listen at the same time as I work on the computer.

otherworldy, but made me feel more human. hello, Q-Rosh. thank you, Q-Rosh.

so many gorgeous, lush textures here -- really feels enveloping. beautiful and, at times, on the edge of being a bit frightening, then plunging right back into safety and beauty. agreed with all of cTrix's comments above as well, really great.

a feast for the ears.

Love hiss, clicks, blubbs, beeps and boops.  Some really awesome sounds in here, really digging the scenery.

Beautiful sounds in this track. I like the glitch effects as well, bringing a digital layer into an analogue world.

Beautiful use of effects on the source material, the glitch effects were a pleasant surprise, the hiss doesn't distract from this at all, only adds more character.  It's a grey and overcast day here today but this feels nice and warm.

this feels like time travel heart

beautiful. tall grass blowing in a gentle breeze vibes. comforting sounds, thank you

a perfectly self-encompassed spiritual retreat in song form heart

Beautiful! So many great moments of layers, melodies, textures, and sounds weaving together and coming apart again. Gorgeous production and soundscape. Really expertly crafted heart

Has the feeling of old film strips.  The pops and clicks are an appropriate warm additions.  Sounds like a swirl of memories.  2:39 backwards voice interludes are extra special magic!

Oh such magic burbling textures, I'm floating around on them. I agree with Emily, it feels like time travel. Nostalgic reflections, the past and future merging. And sunrises. Guitar beautiful as always.
