No love

Another one that came down to the wire, bouncing in the last 3minutes. Made in a day. Upbeat electronic one where I tried a little harder than usual to play real sounding drums on the pads and spend a bunch of time sound designing the stutter thing. Custom serum patch with a bunch of envelopes into a phaser, then roar "wall of guitar amps", then an ableton guitar amp and cab, with the stutter coming from an auto filter with a square wave lfo

High production values throughout.

That swell at 1:07 was great.

I liked the clean instrumentation over the deep bass.

Loved the mood. Thanks for sharing!

Smooth as. Your vox are great, and the drums are really nice. Are they played or programmed?

Ah, I see the drum pads comment now. Nice work smile

Killer drums! Are the drum samples from a particular sound pack? The deep bass is great. What effects are you using on vocals, sounds so good! Favoriting

Love those gated reverbs on the drums.

Crisp hi hats, nice deep bass, fun tremolo patch on top and the vocals are super effective.

Huge sounds. Nice vocal melody. The tremolo sound really adds something. Sweet!

Thanks! Start of chorus vox pitched up an octave, reversed with a fade in, and fed to a ping pong delay

Lol, I am a bit of an Ableton fanboy, can't speak highly enough of the new MPE-enabled "expressive drums" kits that integrate with Push 3. (https://www.ableton.com/en/push/) the new pads sense x/y position which maps to modulation on the drum samples. For example, you can work the hi-hat open/closed with one finger on one pad. They sound really good.

I am probably not the best at processing drums... If it's an acoustic drum kit your're hearing it's one of the MPE kits from Ableton session drums. I run the whole kit through the vulf compressor on one of the various drum presets with some tweaking, most recently through Roar either as an alternative or extra, then into one of the verbs on my returns (valhalla or hitsville chambers default usually 😂) with an agressive low cut. I'd say vocal and drum processing are both areas I'm still working on but people here seem to like the job I'm doing! 🙌

I have a two other massive kits with 64 samples loaded for trap and boombap drums that I used in other songs. Also sometimes use Maschine kits.

I have much love for these sounds.
