Long Ago

Fun one this week. Eerie hip-hop vibe with a nice bass line and lyrics about the disconnect between generations from the perspective of my experience at a party. Got an organ and guitar solo at the end, like how the FX on the organ turned out. Vocal melody centered around the I chord again... can't help myself. I will do better next time.

Feel free to roast.

Iā€™m a sucker for an organ solo. Well played too

Congrats! You're old and out of touch now. wink Get off my lawn! Dig the solos.

If this is our generations version of yelling at clouds, I'm down! Very chill, nice bass and great Hook. smile

Nice vibe, interesting choices of instruments. Imagine when you hit 42, still feel kind of like a kid but are just an (kind of) old man now. lol.

Liked the track!

These kids are different lol.
Great groove and lyrics. I relate, as I'm old now.

HA exactly. I feel wiser than my 20's but I'm still 20 something inside. however, the meat suit I live in aches in ways it didn't in my 20s.

These beats are quite fire, old man.

To roast this, I would have to reach that same level of vocal skill first.

Nice one! Is that your voice on the voiceover/rap too?

šŸ˜† Thanks! I just noticed the bit about your multiple personalities in your profile BTW had to go back on all my tracks and see who I was talking to

Yep. "Phone filter" m4l plugin on like 7% wet makes me sound like I have more swag than reality

Thanks! I didn't think the brigade chorus would sound good over an organ for whatever reason but I think it really elevated the tone
