Horizon Line

My partner asked me to put on some lofi hiphop beats to chill/study to while they were doing a thing and it got me wondering why I haven’t tried more of this stuff.

All done in Logic for iPad. The pianos are Pianoteq 8, the bass is Poison-202, the drums are a stock kit, the shimmery bit is Speldosa, and the fx are mostly FAC Alteza with some stock EQ/compression. No external gear, not even midi. Improv played right on the glass

Dang, so this is your first time trying your hand at this??? I'm really digging your take on chill lofi. Especially the improvised piano melody, it's really quite beautiful. Congrats, this is awesome!

I'm always here for lofi hiphop beats. I had the same feeling this week for my track. That time of year I guess.

Very chill, I reckon it'd be more chill if the piano was an octave lower and the bpm down by 10%.
