Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Had to go with Samplr this week, just felt right haha. Found some samples on my hard drive and used some others from the 'Cassette Clarinet' sample-set by Lullatone. Practiced the song for a while, each take being different, then filmed my second set of attempts and chose one I was happy with. Peace!

I like the simple yet catchy main melodic motif that returns throughout as well as way you build on it. The video was cool to watch. There's so many cool toys for making music nowadays, many of which I am not familiar with. This kind of looks like how I imagine they would portray music-making on Star Trek. The future is here.
