spent my free hours fixing up the sequencer I made last week. I've been focused on figuring out new some methods in Gen~ that get around some of its limitations in scripting - as a result I've gained plenty, methods I can take with me into new projects. added a swing function to offset every second event which is supremely satisfying to play with. eventually this will be really nice to midi map and play with faders. for this week I ended up finding a groove I liked using two instances playing a kick and snare sample which are modulated a touch to add pitch and texture movement.

brought back my FM synth from an earlier week for more voicing. loads more to do with this system but juggling a lot of priorities right now - music making time is severely limited.
